Deliver where you are cleared.
Match each release to the stores and territories its license allows, and avoid sending music where it could be rejected or penalised.
Licenses & Legals · Allot Lines Center
Keep the clearance documents for your AI-assisted, remix, cover and sampled releases in Allot Lines Center. Track when each license starts and ends, schedule takedowns before rights run out, and send your music only to the stores it is cleared for.

01 Why it matters
Remixes, covers, samples and AI-assisted tracks need permission from the people who own the original work. Stores can remove releases, hold earnings or apply penalties when that permission is missing, has expired or does not cover the store.
Match each release to the stores and territories its license allows, and avoid sending music where it could be rejected or penalised.
Keep the documents stores ask for during review, so you can answer a request quickly with the right file.
See at a glance which licenses are active, which expire soon and which need more information.
02 What you can do
Licenses & Legals keeps every clearance in one list for you and your team, with dates, licensors and the releases each document covers.
Manage your own licenses and those of the artists and labels you work with, from one account.
Set the start and end of each license, or mark it as perpetual when it never expires.
Apply an approved license to several releases at once instead of uploading the same file again.
Change the details without a new review, or replace the document and our team reviews it again.
03 Scheduled takedowns
Many licenses only last for a set period. Schedule a takedown for the date your rights end, so the release comes down on time and you stay within the agreement and store rules.
The release is removed when your rights end. No missed dates, no release left live without permission.
Music stays on stores after the license expires, which can lead to claims, removed releases or penalties.
04 Statuses
Filter the list by status, or search by licensor and release, to see what needs your attention first.
Approved and in date. Releases it covers are cleared to go out.
The end date is close. Renew the license or schedule a takedown.
The end date has passed. The release should no longer be live.
Our team needs more details or a clearer document before approval.
The document does not support the release. Update it and submit again.
05 How it works
Four steps in Allot Lines Center. Add a license once, link it to your releases and keep it up to date.
Choose the content type, such as AI-generated, remix, cover or sample, and the license type, then add the licensor.
Enter when the license starts and ends, or mark it perpetual. Add notes your team should know.
Connect the license to one release, or use Bulk Apply to add an approved license to many releases at once.
Our team reviews the document. Follow its status, update details and plan takedowns before the license ends.
Any release that uses someone else’s work: remixes, covers, samples and AI-assisted tracks that rely on third-party material. Add the permission you received before you deliver the release.
Yes. Once a license is approved, use Bulk Apply to link it to every release it covers.
Editing details such as the license type, licensor or notes does not need a new review. Replacing the document sends it back to our team for review.
If your license ends on a set date, the release should come down on that date. Scheduling the takedown keeps you within the agreement and the stores’ rules.
