05 YouTube FAQ

Before you release.

More answers in the Help Center.

How much does it cost to release on YouTube?

Nothing upfront. Allot Lines has no subscription and no per-release fee. You keep 80% of the royalties from YouTube and every other store, and Allot Lines retains 20%.

How long does it take to get on YouTube?

Every release is reviewed before delivery. After approval, YouTube processes the release on its own schedule. Submit well ahead of your release date and allow time for corrections.

What is the difference between YouTube Music and Content ID?

YouTube Music delivery makes your tracks available to listen to. Content ID matches your recordings in videos uploaded by others. Both are available to Allot Lines members.

Can I get an Official Artist Channel?

Yes. Allot Lines offers an OAC request service once you have releases delivered to YouTube. Platform requirements apply.
